Introduction

This is an SHT20 I2C temperature and humidity sensor with a waterproof probe. It features a 4C CMOSens SHT20 temperature and humidity sensor chip, with the probe protected by dual waterproofing. The SHT20 I2C temperature and humidity sensor adopts Sensirion's new technology. In addition to a capacitive humidity sensor and bandgap temperature sensor, the chip also integrates an amplifier, A/D converter, OTP memory, and digital processing unit. Compared to the earlier SHT1x and SHT7x series, the SHT20 offers improved reliability and long-term stability. It can accurately measure ambient temperature and relative air humidity. The Arduino SHT20 waterproof temperature and humidity sensor features dual waterproof protection. The internal PCB is protected by potting and encapsulation, while the probe housing is made of PE waterproof material. This is a special waterproof and breathable material that allows water vapor molecules to permeate while blocking water droplets from entering. The sensor will not be damaged even after prolonged immersion in water. With built-in 10k pull-up resistors and 0.1μF filter capacitors, it can be used directly with microcontrollers such as Arduino. The DFRobot Gravity 4-pin sensor adapter is recommended for added convenience.
