Introduction

The RH Series Indoor Platinum RTD Temperature Sensor utilizes a thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element with a factory-installed hydrophobic filter for enhanced moisture protection. The multilayer construction of the sensing element also provides excellent resistance in applications where dust, dirt, grease, and common environmental chemicals are present. The RH Indoor Sensor features an onboard DIP switch that allows users to select the desired output signal and can be powered by either AC or DC power supplies. Single-point field calibration can be performed using the increment and decrement calibration DIP switches — each toggle of the corresponding switch adjusts the curve up or down by +/-0.5%. These enhancements provide greater flexibility and long-term reliability, eliminating the need for field sensor replacement. The series offers two enclosure options to meet most commercial décor requirements. Both enclosures feature a four-way airflow design to minimize self-heating. A three-point NIST calibration certificate is available.
