Introduction

The ACI Relative Humidity Stainless Steel Wall Plate utilizes a thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element with a factory-applied hygroscopic filter to provide a proportional analog voltage output signal. The hygroscopic filter enhances resistance to moisture, dust, and other chemicals, improving long-term reliability. The Relative Humidity Stainless Steel Wall Plate transmitter features built-in DIP switches for field selection of the appropriate output signal and supply voltage to meet application requirements. Each unit also includes 0%, 50%, and 100% test options to verify proper transmitter operation and correct installation. Field calibration can be performed using increment and decrement calibration DIP switches without replacing the sensing element. These improvements provide greater flexibility and excellent long-term reliability. All Relative Humidity Stainless Steel Wall Plate transmitters include, as standard, an attractive brushed stainless steel single-gang wall plate designed for mounting on a single-gang in-wall junction box. The PCB is conformal coated to enhance protection against moisture and other contaminants. A temporary plastic sensor cover is also included to protect the relative humidity sensor from chemicals used in washdown applications. A three-point NIST calibration certificate is available.
