Introduction

The ACI radiation shield is a reliable solution for protecting relative humidity sensors installed in locations without eaves or overhead cover. It consists of nine molded white plastic plates designed to reduce solar thermal effects and increase airflow between the plates. The shield also provides additional protection against rain and snow. It is compatible with ±2% RH transmitters featuring field-selectable 4–20 mA, 0–5 VDC, and 0–10 VDC outputs. A three-point NIST calibration certificate is available.
