Introduction

The ACI Outdoor Air Relative Humidity Series with Nickel RTD utilizes a thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element with a factory-applied hygroscopic filter to provide a proportional analog current or voltage output signal. The hygroscopic filter enhances resistance to moisture, dust, and other chemicals, improving long-term reliability. The outdoor air relative humidity transmitter features a built-in DIP switch for field selection of the appropriate output signal and supply voltage to meet application requirements. Each unit also includes 0%, 50%, and 100% test options to verify proper transmitter operation and correct wiring. Field calibration can also be performed using increment and decrement calibration DIP switches without replacing the sensing element. These enhancements deliver greater flexibility and outstanding long-term reliability. The outdoor air configuration features a weatherproof Euro-style enclosure with a sealed cover and a conformal-coated PCB for enhanced moisture and chemical resistance. Three-point and five-point NIST calibration certificates are available upon request but must be ordered separately.
