Introduction

The ACI radiation shield is a reliable solution for protecting relative humidity sensors installed in locations without eaves or shading. It consists of nine molded white plastic plates designed to reduce solar heat effects and enhance airflow between the plates. The shield also provides additional rain and snow protection for the sensor. It is compatible with ±2% RH transmitters and 100 or 1K ohm standard platinum RTDs, with field-selectable 4–20 mA, 0–5 VDC, and 0–10 VDC outputs. A three-point NIST calibration certificate is available.
