Introduction

The CHT13 digital temperature and humidity sensor is a compact, high-performance, highly reliable, and high-accuracy sensor that uses a single-bus communication interface with factory-calibrated digital signal output. The sensor integrates a highly reliable, high-accuracy humidity-sensing element and an external high-precision NTC temperature-sensing element, connected to a wide-voltage (2.7–5.5 Vdc) mixed-signal microprocessor. It incorporates an analog logarithmic linearization circuit, a high-precision 14-bit ADC, and an enhanced single-bus hardware driver, featuring strong drive capability, excellent noise immunity, and a low-power mode. The product employs a multi-point, wide-range online auto-calibration process and a proprietary algorithm to ensure accuracy and consistency, and undergoes aging and testing under high-temperature, high-humidity conditions to guarantee reliability and long-term stability. The single-bus communication interface is easy to use and allows direct drop-in replacement of other digital temperature and humidity sensors. The output is a direct digital readout with built-in compensation for temperature, humidity, and temperature drift, eliminating the need for secondary calculations — the data read by the user directly represents the actual temperature and humidity values, making integration straightforward.
