Introduction

The CHT20 MEMS next-generation temperature and humidity sensor sets new standards in size and intelligence. It features a reflow-solderable DFN SMD package measuring 3×3mm with a height of 0.95mm. The sensor outputs calibrated digital signals in standard I²C format. Integrating a newly designed dedicated ASIC, an improved MEMS semiconductor capacitive humidity sensing element, and a standard on-chip temperature sensing element, it delivers significantly enhanced performance that even surpasses the reliability level of its predecessor. Optimized for stable operation in harsh environments, each sensor is individually calibrated and tested. Thanks to its improved and miniaturized design, it offers a better cost-to-performance ratio, and all devices will ultimately benefit from a cutting-edge energy-saving operating mode.
