Introduction

This device features a 2.7×1.8 mm package — compact, reflow-solderable, and fully compatible with SMT assembly requirements — enabling highly efficient automated production. It is suitable for equipment requiring detection of small air pressure differentials. When the built-in MEMS chip senses a change in air pressure, it converts the pressure variation into a capacitance variation. The MEMS chip is connected to the input of the built-in ASIC chip; the ASIC input circuit detects the capacitance change signal to determine user actions and outputs the corresponding high/low trigger signals. The ASIC-based design eliminates the system hang-up issues that may occur in MCU-based solutions, as well as the chip reset failures caused by supply voltage falling below the critical threshold. In power-saving mode, the quiescent current is ≤5 μA, and the peripheral application circuit is simple.
