Introduction

The S286 is an active device designed to generate an alarm signal when liquid falls below or rises above a preset level. A configurable time delay is available to eliminate false triggers caused by liquid turbulence. The switch incorporates a factory-programmable microprocessor, providing either a current-sinking-to-ground or voltage-sourcing output. For maximum accuracy, the S286 should ideally be mounted horizontally at the point where an alarm or control signal is required.
