Introduction

The MC series cable end float switches are insensitive to humidity and condensation, designed to control liquids at temperatures up to 130°C and a maximum pressure of 4 bar. Due to the operating temperature of the float switch, its housing is made of 304 AISI stainless steel, and the 5m cable features a high-temperature-resistant outer sheath. Both polyurethane and silicone cable options are available to suit the fluid being measured. The switching element is a microswitch with gold-plated contacts, activated by a movable stainless steel ball, with an electrical life of 200,000 operations. Non-hygroscopic closed-cell foam polyurethane is injected around the switch housing inside the enclosure to seal the device. The microswitch is suitable for low-power applications such as PLC use and other electronic purposes. When using a polyurethane cable, it is suitable for fuel oil. Note that the cable is not replaceable — if damaged, the entire device must be replaced.
