Introduction

The XL - TankSensor - WRMA sensor series provides reliable distance information in air. The MB7850 sensor is recommended for liquid level measurement. This sensor features high-power acoustic output and real-time automatic sensitivity adjustment for varying conditions (supply voltage drop, acoustic noise, or electrical noise). Operating supply voltage ranges from 3V to 5.5V, with object detection range of 0–650cm, sonar distance measurement from 5cm to 650cm, and 1cm resolution. Liquid within 0–5cm is reported as 5cm. The sensor is housed in a rugged ABS enclosure rated to IP67. The top thread is 3/4"-14 NPS, and the flared end features 2" NPS threading. User interface formats include real-time analog voltage envelope, analog voltage output, and serial output.
