Introduction

The OLS2 series is a liquid level sensor designed for single-point liquid level detection. The sensor incorporates an infrared emitter and detector arranged within a precisely molded cone, enabling effective optical coupling when the sensor is in air. When the sensor is immersed in liquid, the infrared light passes through the liquid rather than being reflected back to the detector, significantly reducing this coupling. The sensor features a transistor output that can be configured by the user for specific applications. The output is implemented via a TTL-compatible push-pull output.
