Introduction

The OLS7 series is a liquid level sensor designed for single-point liquid level detection. The sensor incorporates an infrared emitter and detector arranged within a precision-molded cone, enabling effective optical coupling when the sensor is in air. When the sensor is immersed in liquid, this coupling is significantly reduced, as the infrared light escapes through the liquid rather than being reflected back to the detector. The sensor features a transistor output, allowing users to configure it for specific applications.
