Introduction

CZ-3A02 is an open-loop current sensor using a Hall sensor that outputs an analog voltage proportional to AC/DC current. It employs a III-V semiconductor thin film as the Hall sensor, achieving high-accuracy and high-speed current detection. The coreless ultra-compact SMT package helps save board space. In addition, the low primary conductor resistance suppresses heat generation, enabling continuous current measurement up to 50Arms. Existing coreless current sensors suffer from accuracy degradation due to stray magnetic field interference. The CZ-3A0x series features a built-in stray magnetic field suppression function to mitigate this effect. The series also provides dual overcurrent detection capability. The CZ-3A0x series complies with the UL 61800-5-1 safety standard, making it well suited for industrial AC drives, servo motors, and similar applications. The series is also ideal for feeding sensor signals into 3.3V ADCs. The CZ-3A0x series offers multiple linear measurement ranges, from ±12.9A (CZ-3A01) to ±129.1A (CZ-3A07). This enables designers to use the same PCB layout across products with different current ratings.
