Introduction

The CZ-375C is an open-loop current sensor using a Hall sensor that outputs an analog voltage proportional to AC/DC current. The Hall sensor employs a III-V semiconductor thin film for high-accuracy, high-speed current detection. The coreless ultra-compact SMT package saves board space. In addition, low primary conductor resistance suppresses heat generation, enabling continuous current of 100Arms. Conventional coreless current sensors suffer from accuracy degradation due to stray magnetic field interference. The CZ-375x series features built-in stray magnetic field suppression to mitigate this effect. The CZ-375x series also complies with the UL 61800-5-1 safety standard, making it well-suited for applications such as industrial charging stations and commercial air conditioning systems. Sharing the same package as the CZ-370x series, the CZ-375x series supports a wide current detection range from ±115Apeak (CZ-375A) to ±225Apeak (CZ-375D). This allows designers to reuse the same PCB layout across different products and helps users scale their designs across various current ratings.
