Introduction

The CA-IS23xxxS series are high-precision, cost-effective current sensor ICs designed for AC/DC current sensing in a wide range of industrial, commercial, and communication systems. The device incorporates a low-offset, linear Hall sensor circuit and a copper conductive path. When current flows through the conductive path, a magnetic field is generated. The integrated Hall IC senses this magnetic field and converts it into a proportional voltage output, with a positive slope proportional to the current flowing through the primary copper conductive path. The device uses differential current sensing to suppress common-mode magnetic fields, thereby improving measurement accuracy in magnetically noisy environments. With an internal resistance of 1mΩ, the primary copper conductive path enables low power loss and high surge current capability. The CA-IS23xxxS is available in an 8-pin narrow-body SOIC package and is rated for an operating junction temperature range of -40°C to +150°C.
