CT428 is a high-bandwidth, ultra-low-noise integrated contact current sensor that utilizes Allegro's proprietary XtremeSense™ TMR technology to enable high-accuracy current measurement in a wide range of industrial, consumer, and automotive applications. The device supports eight current ranges, with an integrated current-carrying conductor (CCC) capable of handling up to 65A, converting current measurements into a linear analog output voltage. The device's total output error is less than ±1.0% of full scale (FS). The device offers an output response time of approximately 300ns, a current consumption of approximately 6.0mA, and is immune to common-mode fields. The CT428 integrates an overcurrent detection (OCD) circuit to identify out-of-range currents (OCD) and outputs the result to a fault flag (FLT) pin. FLT is an open-drain, active-low digital signal driven by the CT428 to alert the microcontroller of a fault condition. The CT428 is offered in an industry-standard 8-pin SOIC package and is compliant with green and RoHS standards.
