Introduction

CZ-3A01 is an open-loop current sensor utilizing a Hall sensor that outputs an analog voltage proportional to AC/DC current. It employs a III-V compound semiconductor thin film as the Hall sensor, achieving high-accuracy and high-speed current detection. The coreless ultra-compact SMT package saves board space. In addition, the low primary conductor resistance suppresses heat generation, enabling continuous current measurement up to 50Arms. Conventional coreless current sensors suffer from accuracy degradation due to stray magnetic field interference. The CZ-3A0x series incorporates a built-in stray magnetic field rejection function to mitigate this effect. The series also features dual overcurrent detection. The CZ-3A0x series complies with the UL 61800-5-1 safety standard, making it well suited for industrial AC drives, servo motors, and similar applications. It is also ideal for feeding sensor signals into 3.3V ADCs. The CZ-3A0x series offers multiple linear measurement ranges, from ±12.9A (CZ-3A01) to ±129.1A (CZ-3A07). This allows designers to use the same PCB layout across products with different current ratings.
