Introduction

JSM6900S0 is a high-performance Hall-effect current sensor capable of efficiently measuring AC or DC current, with wide applications in industrial, consumer, and communications equipment.

The JSM6900S0 series integrates a high-precision, low-noise linear Hall circuit and a low-impedance primary current conductor. When the sampled current flows through the primary current path, the resulting magnetic field induces a corresponding electrical signal in the Hall circuit. After signal processing, a voltage output is produced that is strictly proportional to the measured current.

The linear Hall circuit is fabricated using an advanced BCDMOS process, incorporating a high-sensitivity Hall sensor, Hall signal preamplifier, high-precision Hall temperature compensation unit, oscillator, dynamic offset cancellation circuit, and amplifier output module. In the absence of a magnetic field, the quiescent output of the current sensor is a fixed 2.5V or 50% Vcc. With a 5V supply voltage, the sensor output varies linearly with the magnetic field in the range of 0.2~4.8V, with a linearity of up to 0.4%.

The integrated dynamic offset cancellation circuit in the JSM6900S0 ensures that the sensor sensitivity is unaffected by external mechanical stress and IC package stress. The JSM6900S0 is available in an SOP8 package, operates over a temperature range of -40~150℃, and is RoHS compliant.
