Introduction

This document describes the functional and electrical specifications of the NFC open controller PN7642. The PN7642 supports highly innovative and unique features that require no host controller interaction. These features include dynamic power control, adaptive waveform control, and fully automatic EMD error handling. The PN7642 is an Arm Cortex-M33 microcontroller with an integrated NFC interface and security subsystem. In this document, "MIFARE card" refers to contactless cards using ICs from the MIFARE Classic, MIFARE Plus, MIFARE Ultralight, or MIFARE DESFire product families.
