Introduction

JSMRC523 is a widely used contactless card reader chip that integrates multiple contactless communication modes and protocols at 13.56 MHz, featuring a high degree of technical integration. When operating in reader/writer mode, the JSMRC523's transmission module supports ISO/IEC 14443A and ISO/IEC 14443B standards, and can employ various transmission rates and modulation methods. JSMRC523 supports the following operating modes: reader/writer mode compatible with ISO/IEC 14443A and ISO/IEC 14443B. These modes support different transmission rates and modulation methods. JSMRC523 supports direct connection to various MCU interfaces, including SPI, I2C, and UART. JSMRC523 can reset its interface and automatically detect the type of MCU interface currently in use after power-on or hard reset. JSMRC523 supports high-speed communication with the host via SPI interface, capable of handling data rates up to 10 Mbit/s. When communicating with the host, JSMRC523 operates as a slave device, receiving data from the peripheral host to configure registers and exchanging data related to RF interface communication. The internal UART interface is compatible with the RS232 serial interface. The I2C bus interface allows the host to connect to JSMRC523 with fewer pins. I2C interface operation complies with the I2C bus interface specification. This interface can only operate in slave mode.
