Introduction
W3579 is a flexible NFC antenna well-suited for space-constrained embedded products such as tablets, laptops, and payment terminals. It is designed for secure payment or secure access applications where connection distance is limited to protect sensitive information.
The W3579 features a semi-flexible sintered ferrite backing engineered to optimize the magnetic field, thereby enhancing the antenna's corresponding field strength. The W3579 is a thin, flexible antenna that can be fed using customer-supplied spring clips, contacts, direct soldering, or Pulse's own W9908/W9909 Type-C clips. The antenna can be easily mounted using a thin but highly adhesive backing tape. It is recommended to mount the antenna on the inside of a battery cover, or in a position where the antenna is close to a ground plane or display.
