Introduction

The SIM5360 module supports quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band UMTS/HSPA+, operating on the following frequency bands: GSM850, EGSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900 MHz and WCDMA 2100/900 MHz (SIM5360E), 1900/850 MHz (SIM5360A), 2100/850 MHz (SIM5360J). The SIM5360 module measures 30×30×2.9 mm and integrates rich functionality to meet virtually all space and size requirements in user applications, such as smartphones, PDA phones, industrial handheld devices, machine-to-machine, vehicle applications, and more. The physical interface between the module and the user consists of 82-pin SMT pads, providing all hardware interfaces of the module. Power interface: one USB interface capable of emulating five serial ports for data transfer, debugging, and software download; one full-featured serial port; one SD card interface; one USIM card interface; programmable GPIO; two ADC input interfaces; LDO output; one current sink source input; one PCM (digital audio) interface; keypad interface supporting up to 25 keys; one SPI interface; RTC power input; one I2C interface.
