Introduction

FST50_09AL is a highly integrated, high-performance, low-cost Wi-Fi module based on the ASR5502A chip. The ASR5502A integrates an RF transceiver, 802.11 PHY+MAC, ARM Cortex-M4F, API interface, real-time counter (RTC), and complete power management circuitry, along with a comprehensive software solution including RTOS/TCPIP/SSL/MQTT/WIFI/AT and more. Customers can bring products to market with minimal application development effort. The chip provides a small form-factor solution for IoT applications such as smart lighting, security, remote control, and home appliances, enabling seamless Wi-Fi integration into other systems with minimal external components. The chip features full 802.11b/g/n-based WLAN networking capabilities, supporting operation as a slave device via SDIO interface or as a standalone IoT application with Supplicant/HostAP/Sniffer modes.
