Introduction

ESP32-S2-MINI-2 and ESP32-S2-MINI-2U are general-purpose Wi-Fi MCU modules with powerful performance and rich peripheral interfaces, suitable for applications such as wearable electronics and smart home devices. The ESP32-S2-MINI-2 features a PCB on-board antenna, while the ESP32-S2-MINI-2U connects to an external antenna via a connector. Both modules are available in multiple variants. Both modules are based on the ESP32-S2 series chip, which integrates an Xtensa 32-bit LX7 single-core processor operating at up to 240 MHz. Users can power down the CPU and use the low-power coprocessor to monitor peripheral state changes or detect whether certain analog values exceed defined thresholds. The ESP32-S2 series chip also integrates a rich set of peripherals, including SPI, I2S, UART, I2C, LED PWM, TWAI, LCD interface, Camera interface, ADC, DAC, touch sensor, temperature sensor, 43 GPIOs, and a full-speed USB On-The-Go (OTG) interface.
