Introduction

Rd-01 is a radar module with Wi-Fi and BLE support. The radar section is powered by the S3KM111L chip, an integrated monolithic single-wave sensor SoC based on FMCW technology, operating in the 24 GHz K-band with a modulation bandwidth of up to 1 GHz per frequency. It uses FMCW continuous wave detection to identify targets within a defined space. Combined with radar signal processing and a precise human body sensing algorithm, it enables high-sensitivity human presence detection to recognize both motion and stationary states. The Wi-Fi and BLE section is built around the BL602 chip as the core processor, supporting Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and BLE 5.0. The BL602 features an integrated low-power 32-bit RISC CPU, 276KB RAM, and a rich set of peripheral interfaces including SPI, UART, I²C, PWM, ADC, and GPIO. The module detects the presence of moving or micro-moving individuals within a monitored area and transmits detection results in real time via Wi-Fi and BLE. It provides a visual configuration tool for easy setup of detection range, sensing sensitivity for different segments, and unoccupied delay time. It also supports wireless radar parameter configuration over Wi-Fi and BLE, significantly improving installation and O&M efficiency with a convenient and streamlined workflow.
