Introduction
The E280-2G4T12S is a wireless serial module based on the SX1280 RF chip, operating in transparent transmission mode at the 2.4GHz band. It supports three modulation/demodulation technologies — LoRa, FLRC, and GFSK — with TTL-level output. Building on traditional serial modules, this module adds wireless ranging capability, employing an improved binary backoff algorithm combined with adaptive frequency hopping and integrated Kalman filtering to effectively resist wireless interference and improve ranging accuracy. The module utilizes direct sequence spread spectrum technology, providing a wider power spectrum and strong anti-interference capability. A built-in hardware forward error correction algorithm delivers high coding efficiency and robust error correction, enabling active correction of corrupted packets under burst interference to enhance reliability. The module features data encryption and compression: the encryption algorithm randomizes data transmitted over the air, while the compression function helps reduce transmission time and lower the probability of interference.
