Introduction
The E28-2G4M12S/SX is a 2.4GHz Bluetooth module featuring long-range and ultra-low power consumption. It is a compact SMT module with a 1.27mm pin pitch, built-in PCB antenna, IPEX antenna interface, and a high-precision 52MHz crystal oscillator. The module employs the SX1281 RF chip and supports multiple physical layers and modulation schemes, including LoRa, FLRC, and GFSK. Its specialized modulation and processing methods enable extended operating range under LoRa and FLRC modulation, while GFSK mode is compatible with BLE protocol. Its outstanding ultra-low power consumption, combined with the chip's integrated DC-DC conversion and time-of-flight functionality, makes it well-suited for smart home, security systems, tracking and positioning, wireless ranging, wearable electronics, smart bands, and health management applications. The SX1281 supports RSSI indication, allowing users to perform secondary development according to their own requirements; it also integrates a time-of-flight function for ranging. This module is a pure RF transceiver module and requires a microcontroller or a dedicated SPI debugging tool for operation.
