RF-BM-2340B1 is a SimpleLink 2.4 GHz wireless module supporting Bluetooth 5.3 Low Energy, Zigbee, IEEE 802.15.4g, TI 15.4-Stack (2.4 GHz), and proprietary protocols. It integrates a high-performance ARM Cortex-M0+ processor with 512 KB Flash and 32 KB ultra-low leakage SRAM. The module exposes 24 IOs with multiple peripherals including I²C, UART, SPI, ADC, and GPIO. BLE 5 features supported include: high-speed mode (2 Mbps PHY), long-range advertising (LE Coded 125 kbps and 500 kbps PHY), with backward compatibility for key features of BLE 4.2 and earlier BLE specifications. The module can operate in bridge mode (transparent transmission mode). In bridge mode, the host MCU can communicate bidirectionally with mobile devices via the module's general-purpose UART. Users can also manage and configure certain communication parameters through specific AT commands over the serial interface. The specific meaning of user data is defined by the upper-layer application. Mobile devices can perform write operations to the module via an APP, and the written data will be forwarded to the host MCU through the module's UART. Upon receiving data packets from the host MCU's serial port, the module will automatically forward them to the mobile device. In this mode, users are responsible for both the host MCU firmware design and the mobile APP code development. To ensure firmware stability, the module begins normal operation 2200 ms after power-on. For high-throughput transparent transmission of large data, it is recommended to start 6 seconds after the connection is established, as the connection setup requires time to negotiate MTU, connection interval, and other parameters — initiating high-speed transparent transmission during this period is prone to packet loss or device lockup.
