Introduction

FGH100M is a long-range, low-power Wi-Fi HaLow module compliant with the IEEE 802.11ah standard. Wi-Fi HaLow is the first Wi-Fi standard operating in the unlicensed Sub-1 GHz band. It operates in the 850~950 MHz frequency band with channel widths of 1/2/4/8 MHz; the theoretical maximum output power is 21 dBm and the maximum data rate is 32.5 Mbps. Based on the Sub-1 GHz band, the module offers superior penetration performance and extended coverage range, enabling expansion of smart home or smart city networks and allowing users to control IoT devices over 1 km away. The module features a low-power design with high-capacity access support — theoretically, each AP can accommodate up to 8,191 IoT device connections, making it well-suited for large-scale IoT deployments. Adopting an LGA package with dimensions of 13.0 mm × 13.0 mm × 2.2 mm, the module maximizes suitability for end products requiring compact form factors, effectively reducing product size and cost.
