Introduction

The A7670C (R5 Series) is an ultra cost-effective LTE Cat 1 module targeting the Chinese market, built on the ASR1602 platform. It supports LTE-TDD and LTE-FDD wireless standards with a maximum downlink rate of 10Mbps and a maximum uplink rate of 5Mbps. The module adopts the mainstream 24×24mm form factor with LGA+LCC packaging, enabling smooth migration from 2G, NB-IoT, and Cat M products to LTE products, meeting customer demands for compact yet fully-featured terminal designs. The module integrates multiple network protocols and supports USB drivers for mainstream operating systems including Windows, Linux, and Android, along with a rich set of software features. It also incorporates various industry-standard interfaces including UART, SPI, I²C, and GPIO, offering strong expansion capabilities. It is well-suited for mainstream IoT applications such as vehicle communication terminals, security terminals, point-of-sale terminals, industrial routers, and telemedicine terminals.
