Introduction

Low-power Bluetooth (BLE) RF module for short-range wireless communication applications. Features low power consumption, compact form factor, long transmission range, and strong anti-interference capability. The module is equipped with a high-performance inverted-F antenna. Powered by Nordic Semiconductor's nRF52840 as the core processor. The module operates in the 2.4 GHz ISM band with GFSK modulation (Gaussian Frequency Shift Keying), 40 channels with 2 MHz channel spacing, 3 fixed advertising channels, 37 adaptive frequency-hopping data channels. The physical layer can be combined with classic Bluetooth RF to form a dual-mode device, and the 2 MHz channel spacing provides better protection against adjacent channel interference. Wide output power range (-20 dBm to +8 dBm) with -96 dBm high-gain receive sensitivity. The nRF52840 is built around a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4F CPU with 1 MB flash + 256 KB RAM. It features a rich set of analog and digital peripherals that can interact without CPU involvement via the Programmable Peripheral Interconnect (PPI) system. The flexible 48-pin GPIO mapping scheme (ND05I does not expose all pins; 29 I/Os are directly available) allows I/Os — such as serial interfaces, PWM, and quadrature demodulators — to be mapped to any device pin based on PCB requirements, enabling full design flexibility in pin placement and functionality. This module is suitable for developing consumer electronics and mobile peripheral products based on Bluetooth 4.0/4.2/5 (BLE), providing customers with a rapid BLE solution for communication between their products and smart mobile devices.
