The PIC32CX-BZ2 series is a family of general-purpose, low-cost 32-bit MCU devices featuring a multi-protocol wireless interface (Bluetooth, Zigbee, IEEE 802.15.4, and Thread), hardware-based security accelerators, a transceiver, and a PMU. The WBZ45 module is a family of fully RF-certified wireless modules incorporating the PIC32CX-BZ2 wireless MCU, available with the following antenna options: • PCB antenna • U.FL connector for external antenna In addition to supporting Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth 5.2), Zigbee (Zigbee 3.0), and Thread (Thread 1.3.0) wireless protocols, PIC32CX-BZ2 devices and WBZ45 modules also support a rich set of standard MCU peripherals, such as: • ADC • SPI • I2C • QSPI • USART • SWD • Up to 22 PWM outputs with single/dual slope, variable duty cycle, synchronous mode, and more
