Introduction

HLK-B40 is a master/slave BLE 5.1-based serial transparent transmission Bluetooth module, enabling devices with a serial port to wirelessly send and receive data simply and quickly. Key features are as follows: 48MHz main frequency, 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 core; fast and stable Bluetooth-to-serial transmission with baud rate up to 921600; master-to-one Bluetooth, configurable as master or slave mode with binding and encryption support; slave mode supports up to 20 simultaneous master device connections with customizable advertising data; BLE 5.1-based with faster transmission and longer range, up to 40–100 meters in open environments; low-power mode support with sleep current as low as 6μA, customizable connection and advertising intervals; adjustable Bluetooth TX power up to 10dBm with RX sensitivity up to -95dBm; OTA firmware upgrade and wireless parameter configuration support; onboard ceramic antenna by default for extended range, with external antenna interface included; built-in watchdog for long-term reliable operation; ultra-compact form factor 14mm × 9.5mm × 2mm; wide operating voltage 1.8–4.2V, typical 3.3V; rich I/O pins (UART, I2C, SPI, up to 15 GPIOs, up to 4 ADCs, up to 6 PWMs) with flexible and in-depth hardware and software customization development services.
