Introduction
ESPC5-12E Wi-Fi6 2.4G and 5 GHz plus Bluetooth coexistence module is a highly integrated single-chip low-power 802.11b/g/n/ax WLAN network controller. It integrates a 240MHz CPU, WLAN MAC, 1T1R-capable WLAN baseband, RF, and Bluetooth functions on a single chip. It also provides a large number of configurable GPIOs that can be configured as digital peripherals for various application and control purposes. ESPC5-12E integrates a rich set of peripherals, including SPI, parallel IO, ADC, UART, I²C, I²S, RMT, LED PWM, USB serial, JTAG controller, MCPWM, SDIO 2.0 slave controller, GDMA, Twai controller, on-chip JTAG debugging, event task matrix, and up to 19 GPIOs. ESPC5-12E contains an IEEE 802.15.4-compliant subsystem with integrated PHY and MAC layers, supporting multiple software protocol stacks including Thread, ZigBee, Matter, HomeKit, and MQTT. The module uses ESP32-C5 as the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth coexistence SoC, integrating built-in memory for complete Wi-Fi protocol functionality, while its embedded memory configuration also facilitates application development. The ESPC5-12E module supports the standard IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocol and a full TCP/IP stack, allowing users to add Wi-Fi capability to existing devices or use it as a standalone network controller.
