Introduction
The ESPC5-12 Wi-Fi6 2.4G & 5 GHz and Bluetooth coexistence module is a highly integrated single-chip, low-power 802.11b/g/n/ax WLAN network controller. It integrates a 240 MHz CPU, WLAN MAC, 1T1R WLAN baseband, RF, and Bluetooth functionality into a single chip. It also provides a range of configurable GPIOs that can be configured as digital peripherals for various application and control purposes. The ESPC5-12 integrates a rich set of peripherals, including SPI, parallel IO, ADC, UART, I2C, I2S, RMT, LED PWM, USB serial, JTAG controller, MCPWM, SDIO 2.0 slave controller, GDMA, TWAI controller, on-chip JTAG debugging, event task matrix, and up to 19 GPIOs. The ESPC5-12 incorporates an IEEE 802.15.4-compliant subsystem with integrated PHY and MAC layers. It supports multiple software protocol stacks, including Thread, ZigBee, Matter, HomeKit, and MQTT. The ESPC5-12 module uses the ESP32-C5 as the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth coexistence SoC. The ESPC5-12 module integrates internal memory to enable full Wi-Fi protocol functionality. The embedded memory configuration also facilitates application development. The ESPC5-12 module supports the standard IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocol and a complete TCP/IP stack. It can be used to add Wi-Fi capability to existing devices or serve as a standalone network controller.
