Introduction

The IRIS-W10 series are high-performance, standalone, tri-radio modules supporting Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth Low Energy, delivering robust Wi-Fi channel security and reliability with improved network efficiency and lower power consumption. The modules integrate the NXP RW612/RW610 wireless MCU featuring a tri-radio architecture, supporting the latest Wi-Fi 6 technology, Bluetooth Low Energy, IEEE 802.15.4 low-rate wireless networks, Matter over Wi-Fi, Thread protocol, and Ethernet connectivity. Available with PCB antenna and external antenna options, they are ideal solutions for secure connectivity in commercial and home ecosystem products. The open CPU module configuration integrates a powerful Arm Cortex-M33 MCU running at up to 260 MHz, equipped with 1.2 MB RAM and 8/16 MB flash memory, along with support for multiple peripheral interfaces. The modules are certified under the EU Radio Equipment Directive and for the US, UK, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia/New Zealand, South Africa, and Brazil, comply with Bluetooth Core Specification 5.4, and support professional-grade operation over a temperature range of -40 °C to +85 °C.
