Introduction
The CC1021 is a true single-chip UHF transceiver designed for very low-power and very low-voltage wireless applications. The circuit is primarily intended for the 433 MHz, 868 MHz, and 915 MHz ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) and SRD (Short Range Device) frequency bands, but can also be easily programmed for multi-channel operation in the 402 to 470 MHz and 804 to 930 MHz ranges. The CC1021 is particularly suited for narrowband systems compliant with EN 300 220 and CC CFR47 Part 15, with channel spacing of 50 kHz and above. The main operating parameters of the CC1021 can be programmed via a serial bus, making it a highly flexible and easy-to-use transceiver. In a typical system, the CC1021 is used together with a microcontroller and a small number of external passive components.
