Introduction

Si24R2 is a wireless transmitter IC operating in the 2.4GHz ISM band, designed for low-power wireless applications with an integrated embedded transmit baseband. The operating frequency range is 2400~2525MHz, with 126 channels of 1MHz bandwidth. An internal high-PSRR LDO regulator ensures stable operation over a wide supply voltage range of 1.9~3.6V.

Si24R2 employs GFSK/FSK digital modulation and demodulation technology. Both data rate and PA output power are adjustable, supporting three data rates: 2Mbps, 1Mbps, and 250Kbps. Higher data rates complete the same data transmission and reception in less time, resulting in lower power consumption.

Si24R2 is specially optimized for low-power applications. In power-down mode, all register and FIFO values are retained, with a shutdown current of only 300nA. In standby mode, the clock remains active with a current of 15uA, and data transmission can begin within 130uS.

Si24R2 is extremely easy to operate — simply configure a few registers via the SPI interface from an MCU to enable wireless data transmission.

Si24R2 offers very low system application cost, requiring only an MCU and a small number of passive components to form a complete wireless data transmission system. Digital I/O is compatible with multiple standard I/O voltages including 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V, allowing direct connection to various MCU ports.
