Introduction

The MT7628DAN on-chip router integrates an 802.11n MAC and baseband, a 2.4 GHz RF and front-end module, a MIPS 24KEc CPU core running at 575/580 MHz, and a 5-port 10/100 Fast Ethernet switch. The chip incorporates all the features required to build an access point router. Its embedded high-performance CPU can easily handle advanced applications such as routing, security, and Voice over IP. The MT7628DAN also provides a wide range of interfaces to support various applications, such as a USB port for external storage access.
