Introduction

CC110L is a cost-optimized sub-1GHz RF transceiver for the 300–348MHz, 387–464MHz, and 779–928MHz bands. The circuit is based on the popular CC1101 RF transceiver and shares identical RF performance characteristics. Using two CC110L transceivers together enables a low-cost bidirectional RF link. The RF transceiver integrates a highly configurable baseband modem. The modem supports various modulation formats with a configurable data rate of up to 600kbps. The CC110L provides extensive hardware support for packet handling, data buffering, and burst transmission. The main operating parameters and 64-byte RX and TX FIFOs of the CC110L can be controlled via SPI. In a typical system, the CC110L is used alongside a microcontroller and a few other passive components.
