Introduction
BK7236 is a highly integrated wireless microcontroller supporting Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802.11ax) and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.4. It features an Arm® v8-M STAR-MC1 core running at up to 320 MHz, with an integrated double-precision FPU, DSP instructions, and TrustZone® technology. The chip offers comprehensive memory options, including up to 8 MB on-chip Flash, up to 16 MB SiP PSRAM, 640 KB shared SRAM, and 64 KB ROM. The integrated IoT platform security suite provides secure boot, secure debug, secure connection, OTA firmware upgrade, configuration management, trusted execution environment, and a trust engine supporting multiple cryptographic algorithms. Power management supports a wide input voltage range of 2.0 to 4.35 V with an integrated buck converter and LDO, achieving deep sleep current as low as 16 μA. The rich peripheral interfaces include multiple GPIOs, SPI, QSPI, UART, smart card controller, SDIO, I2C, high-speed USB 2.0, LIN controller, general-purpose DMA, DMA2D, rotate and scale module, segment LCD controller, JPEG codec, CMOS image sensor interface, H.264 encoder, Ethernet MAC, PWM, I2S, audio subsystem, auxiliary ADC, timers, watchdog, RTC, IrDA, temperature sensor, and touch sensor.
