Introduction

VM342R is a highly integrated, low-power monolithic ASK/OOK RF receiver system-on-chip. It integrates both the RF signal receiving function and a high-performance microprocessor on a single chip, designed to achieve the most reliable reception performance with minimal external components and lowest cost. This enables a single-chip receiver design, while also supporting data output via standard interfaces (such as UART, SPI, etc.) to simplify system development. VM342R adopts a YSOP12 package, operates over a supply voltage range of 2.2~5.0V, with a normal operating current of 5.1–5.3mA and a low-power mode current as low as 250uA (with a 300ms delay). The startup time of VM342R is 4ms (with a 470nF external capacitor on CTH), and the receive sensitivity can reach up to -112dBm, making it ideal for a wide range of power-sensitive applications. All RF and IF tuning is performed automatically on-chip, eliminating the need for manual tuning during development and production, thereby reducing costs and accelerating time-to-market.
