Introduction

VI520R is a highly integrated, low-power single-chip ASK/OOK RF receiver IC. All RF signal receiving functions are fully integrated on-chip to achieve the most reliable reception with minimal external components and lowest cost. It is therefore a true single-chip receiver in the sense of "wireless RF modulated signal input, digital demodulated signal output."

The VI520R comes in a SOP8 package, with an operating voltage range of 2.0~5.0V, operating current of 3.2 - 3.36mA, startup time of 3ms, and receive sensitivity up to -108dBm, making it ideal for various low-power applications. All RF and IF tuning is automatically handled on-chip, eliminating manual tuning steps during development and production, thereby reducing costs and accelerating time-to-market.
