Introduction

The VG480R is a highly integrated, low-power monolithic ASK/OOK RF receiver IC. All high-frequency signal reception functions are fully integrated on-chip, achieving the most reliable reception performance with minimal external components and lowest cost. It is a true single-chip receiver in the sense of "wireless high-frequency modulated signal in, digital demodulated signal out." The VG480R comes in a SOP8 package, with an operating voltage range of 2.0 ~ 5.5V, operating current of 3.8mA, startup time of 3ms, and a maximum receive sensitivity of -113dBm, making it suitable for various low-power applications. All RF and IF tuning is performed automatically on-chip, eliminating manual tuning processes during development and production, reducing costs and accelerating time-to-market.
