Introduction

The CC110L is a cost-optimized sub-1GHz RF receiver for the 300–348MHz, 387–464MHz, and 779–928MHz bands. Based on the popular CC1101 RF transceiver, it shares identical RF performance characteristics. Two CC110L transceivers can be used together to implement a low-cost bidirectional RF link.

The RF transceiver is integrated with a highly configurable baseband modem. The modem supports various modulation formats and offers a configurable data rate of up to 600kbps.

The CC110L provides extensive hardware support for packet handling, data buffering, and burst transmission.

The main operating parameters of the CC110L and the 64-byte RX/TX FIFOs are controlled via an SPI interface. In a typical system, the CC110L is used together with a microcontroller and a small number of passive components.
