Introduction

VG197A/B/C/D is a monolithically integrated wireless transceiver IC operating in the 2.4GHz worldwide ISM band. The chip integrates RF receiver, RF transmitter, frequency synthesizer, GFSK modulator, and GFSK demodulator functional blocks. Output power, channel selection, and protocol can be flexibly configured via I2C (VG197B/C/D), 3-wire SPI (VG197A), and 4-wire SPI (VG197C/D) interfaces. Built-in CRC, FEC, auto-acknowledgment, and auto-retransmission mechanisms greatly simplify system design and optimize performance. The peripheral circuit is minimal, requiring only a few passive components to achieve excellent transceiver performance.
