Introduction

The ATR5179 is a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) switch monolithic chip fabricated using pHEMT GaAs process technology. The chip features a simple internal circuit architecture with a recommended operating frequency range of 20MHz - 4GHz. It operates from a single supply voltage with very low current consumption and exhibits very low insertion loss when the switch is in the ON state. The chip incorporates two control ports and three RF ports. The two control ports V1 and V2 operate with complementary (inverted) voltage levels, with different logic states corresponding to different switch paths.
