Introduction

The MAX2135A is an ISDB-T/DVB-T diversity tuner — the only diversity tuner for automotive TV applications — consuming only 300mW of power. It supports multiple frequency ranges, including VHF-L (90MHz to 108MHz), VHF-H (170MHz to 230MHz), and UHF (470MHz to 862MHz). Features include a complete diversity solution, low UHF noise figure (typical 3.7dB), high dynamic range (-99dBm to +10dBm), integrated VHF/UHF tracking filters, VCO and oscillator circuitry, low phase noise (typical -95dBc/Hz at 10kHz), integrated 6MHz, 7MHz, and 8MHz channel filters, single +2.7V to +3.47V supply voltage range, low power consumption (typical 396mW), shutdown and standby modes, and I²C serial interface.
